As part of a project I'm doing I've been asked to come up with a name and logo for a make believe bottled water. The thing is that I want the bottled water to be aimed at the higher end of the market in terms of price. I want it to be the type of bottled water that would be served in a top rate restaurant. A bottle of water that wouldn't look out of place served in its bottle and a bottle of water that you'd be happy to own, take away from the restaurant and then keep the bottle as a vase of just to look at. I also have to come up with a design for the bottle but I've got a few ideas for that already. What I'm struggling with is coming up with the name of the bottled water. I want it to be one word, elegant sounding, appropriate, serious, minimal and have some kind of connection with water or its properties ie, Mist, Splash, Vitality or something along those lines.

Anyway, any suggestions greatly appreciated. Keep it serious though so no 'Eau Behave's', 'Scrotum Dew', 'Watever', 'Vanishing Glaciers' or 'isonya's'!!

I finally decided on 'Veau' as the name for my bottled water brand. The reason being that I like how it's short, rolls off the tongue and incorporates the French for water into the name.

However, unfortunately someone pointed out to me that the word 'Veau' means 'Veal' (baby cow or calf) in French which immediately makes the name no good. I have however realised that I could change the name slightly so that I maybe replace the 'V' of 'Veau' to a different letter or I could infact keep 'Veau' and add 'Nou' to it to make 'Nouveau' which I think means fashionable, new or similar but correct me if I'm wrong.

Another issue that I have is that I'd already played around with a logo design before I found out that the name meant 'Veal'. I'd settled on a design which I think works well and looks great so I don't really want to have to start over.
